Project to improve access funding, human resource capacity and export of agricultural sector in the Kyrgyz Republic

Project's objectives on improving agricultural enterprise’s access to funding:
- Assistance on improving the availability of bank loans for enterprises of the agricultural sector of the Kyrgyz Republic, by introducing commodity credit in the form of warehouse receipt financing;
- Optimization of legal and regulatory framework for the commodity credit;
- Establishment of legal and regulatory framework for registration, certification and inspection of warehouses;
- The establishment of a compensation fund to provide guarantee on the parties’ protection;
- To attract investments into warehousing and support in the warehouse activities development through the establishment of the public-private partnership;
- To strengthen the capacity of agricultural producers associations through consultations, providing requisite technical assistance and providing information on market prices of agricultural production, entering into Agreement on warehouse receipt financing with banks, warehouse operators and agricultural producers associations.

Project's objectives on improving human resource capacity and export of agricultural sector:
- Introduction of the training on-the-job system in the vocational educational institutions in order to develop students’ practical skills required on the labor market;
- Optimization of legal and regulatory framework for regulation of the on-the-job studying arrangements;
- Establishment of the basis for effective collaboration between private sector and educational institutions;
- To increase the popularity of agricultural sector for involvement of graduate students.
