The agreement on participation of the Kyrgyz Republic in the International specialized exhibition "Astana EXPO-2017" was signed
The signing of the Agreement took place today in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic. Rapil Zhoshybayev -First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Commissioner of the International Specialized Exhibition "Astana EXPO-2017" and Marat Sharshekeev - President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic; appointed by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic General Commissioner of the Kyrgyz exposition at the International specialized exhibition "Astana EXPO-2017» signed an agreement of participation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The large-scale specialized event will take place from June 10 to September 10, 2017 in Astana, the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The theme of “Astana EXPO-2017” is «Future Energy», which is aimed to highlight one of the most debated themes of international concern – alternative energy sources. The organizers of the fair are expecting the participation of the delegations and international organizations from over 100 countries. At the international specialized exhibition in 2017, participating countries will demonstrate achievements and perspectives in the field of use of the renewable energy sources and their advantages like ecological cleanliness, low operating costs and harmlessness for environment.
During this meeting, Commissioner of the International Specialized Exhibition "Astana EXPO-2017", Rapil Zhoshybayev emphasized great interest of many countries in participating this exhibition.
Consecutively, Marat Sharshekeev, President of CCI KG, expressed his gratitude for the invitation to participate in such large-scale and significant event. He noted that Kyrgyzstan has development capacities in green energy. Mountains, lakes and water resources of the country allows the implementation of alternative energy sources, and there is need to tell and illustrate it at Expo-2017.
During the meeting, parties pointed out that in addition to the main theme of the exhibition organizers are going to provide a platform to highlight economic and tourism opportunities, potential of the participating states’ business community for mutual collaboration.
